The trial script is identical to the full script but is limited to 30 days.  At the end of 30 days the script will display an expirey notice with a link to order the full script.  Converting to the full script does not require reinstallation, none of your configuration or design changes will be effected by the change but please allow 1 business day from order for the conversion to be completed.

Before installing, check the System Requirements to ensure your web hosting has everything required.  The Ventrino Traffic Exchange Script requires PHP and MySQL running on a Linux, Unix or Windows server.

To install the script using the Ventrino script installer

The Ventrino Script Installer is a Windows program that will install your script using FTP and therefore can install on Linux, Unix or Windows web servers.

1. Download the latest installer from http://downloads.ventrino.com/ventrino_trial.exe
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions

To install the script manually uploading the files from a ZIP

1. Download the latest installer from http://downloads.ventrino.com/ventrino_trial.zip
2. Unzip the files and check the readme.txt for any last minute information
3. Upload the contents of the exchange folder using FTP
4. Set the following files and folder permissions to read/write (Windows) and CHMOD 777 (Linux/Unix)
   
   /data/*
   /templates/*
   mysql_config.php

To complete the web installation

Whichever method you choose you complete the installation using your browser. 

1. The using your browser open http://yourdomain.com/install (if you have installed in a sub directory remember to give the full adddress, ie http://yourdomain.com/traffic/install (this page will be automatically opened for you if you used the Ventrino Script Installer program).
2. Follow the instructions.
