The text exchange is a complete text exchange service emabling you to offer your members a popular range of text advert designs. They can select shape, quantity of adverts and colors to match the design of their website. Using a simple point and click tool they can quickly build the code for pasting directly into their websites.
Under the General Settings you can setup the default text and links for your text exchange and choose whether to approve each text ad as it is added to the system. You can also provide a "Powered By" statement and link. This is a powerful feature that will bring many referrals and place your link on many sites (useful for SEO).
Account configuration for the text exchange is similar to that for banners enabling you to set free text ads for joing and introductions as well as the ratio and how many free adverts that can be added.
Pro Texts - how many free text ads this pro membership level receives free each month.
Pro Max Texts - how many text adverts this pro member is allowed to create.
Pro Bnr Ratio Left and Pro Bnr Ratio Right - use these to set the ratio used for earning credits for text and banner impressions. For example if you set a left ratio number of 5 and a right ratio number of 3 then your members will earn 3 text credits for every 5 impressions they send to the exchange.
The text purchase configuration screen allows you to set the purchase options you wish to offer your members.
Item Name - Set the name of the item as you wish to see it listed on the payment page.
Item Number - is the number used as a reference with your payment processor(s).
Description - provide a brief description of the produuct.
Hits - is the number of impressions the member will receive for this purchase.
Amount - is the price you are charging for the hits.

Active - set this to active to offer this product on the payment page.
Item Order - is the order in which this product is displayed on the payment page.
