Why is my member count wrong?, I know I have x members but I only see y, why?

SYMPTOMS

The member count in my BCP says I have one more member that is shown in the member list, why is that?

CAUSE

There is a "hidden" member used for internal processes only. You will not see this member in the "Search Members" list.

SOLUTION

None required, this is intentional.
