Ventrino Forum for Walker Scripts _ Third Party Products & Services _ Are We Allowed To Offer Training & Get Paid?

Posted by: WAHMtrade Jan 28 2009, 01:34 AM

Hi,

I have had a lot of other, new TE owners contact me directly lately asking me for help with their TEs. As much as I would love to spend hours every day helping everyone for free, my hubby is now recently unemployed like half the rest of the US and I need to actually get paid for my time - what a concept laugh.gif .

So I was wondering if Ventrino or Walker or the TE gods would strike me down wounded2.gif and delete my own TE if I charged others to help them????

I would like to offer some newbie/basic private coaching sessions for a paid fee.

Thanx! guys - you know I do love you actually!

Phew...

I never even thought about that, but I was in the same boat. I had help people and accepted "donations". Good to know that I am able to set a standard "Donation" amount now biggrin.gif

I've helped a lot of people too, and I've been helped by a few. But I say by all means, if you can make some money at it, go for it.

For the most part I don't charge. I only took a donation when people wanted a walk through of the whole system / back office. I prefer to help people for free when I can.

but that's just me smile.gif all donations go right back into further developments for my exchange, so I don't really get paid smile.gif

Guys, go 4 it! I'm one that doesn't mind to pay or donate to get things done the right way.

Why not create a forum here where you can post your services for donations if you want to call it that. ;-)

This should include new scripts like the one Rodin made for his site and like the ones Thom and Ray sell.

Sure, for now I would only trust known members from this forum.

Regards
Jose

I too prefer to help for free with stuff I know about. I don't mind sharing what I know and what I've learned. When someone teaches me something new, I try to pass it on to someone else with maybe same or similar probs I had.
