SYMPTOMS

You have just installed your new exchange or just paid for some extra plugins but when you go to setup the configuration you are sent to a payment form instead mad.gif

CAUSE

During installation a small piece of code is written to a file called security.php in the /data folder, if this file does not have the right permissions (modify on Windows and 777 on Linux/Unix) then the update fails and the menu in your BCP is confused.

SOLUTION

There are two possible solutions:-

1. If you see the following image when you login to your BCP click it and wait a few minutes:-

*

2. If /data/security.php exists check it has the correct permissions. If it does not exist make sure the data folder (and all it's contents) have the correct settings (cmod 777).

When you next login to your BCP you should see a yellow bar requesting it be clicked to download the latest code. If it isn't there then click here to notify us and we will update the menus for you.

* If you see Warning: file_get_contents(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration messages make sure your host has allow_url_fopen=1 in the PHP.INI
