Your new website will handle the receipt of payments for you automatically but you need to add a facility to your Paypal account. Do this:-

1) Login to your Paypal account.
2) Select the 'Profile' tab
3) Select 'Instant Payment Notification' under the 'Selling Preferences' section
4) Enter http://yourdomain.com/paypal_ipn.php in the IPN URL field
5) Switch IPN on

Then save your entries and you are ready to take payments!

NB. If you already have IPN switched on for another website then you have nothing more to do.

Each time this website sends a payment it also sends instructions to Paypal for handling this transaction separately.

it pulls the info from a field called {HomeUrl}

so ensure your settings in the "system tools --> general config"

so the script would convert

{HomeUrl}/paypal_ipn.php

to

http://yourdomain.com/paypal_ipn.php

if that is where is is located
