    I thought there was only one type of electricity and one type of gas delivered by British Gas. Apparently that's wrong, they say I must choose another tariff. What's wrong with "the cheapest please"? I mean, if I pay more for my gas or electricity how do I benefit?

    I phoned Customer Services and they say its really obvious and sent me this link:
